A new sliding door was installed to capture and enjoy the scene. Desert neutral tones surrounding the space, are echoed in the material selections and complete the scene. The most noticeable change to the kitchen was adding tall stacked wall cabinetry, which takes advantage of the high ceiling height. A stainless steel appliance hood also draws the eye vertically. The island was altered from a high-low style to an expansive single height countertop with seating. The island contrasts with the creamy white perimeter in an alder wood truffle stain finish. An ultra-modern ribbon light illuminates the island and Grey Good granite. The flooring was replaced with a light toned wood plank tile, making the space feel larger. The new ember glaze cabinets elevated the double vanity, along with the brushed nickel hardware and fixtures to tie everything together. New flooring was installed throughout the whole house to create a cohesive feel as it tied in with the remodeled fireplace. The columns in the fireplace were taken out to create a new mantle, complete with custom floating shelves with a live wood edge for that rustic homey feel. We first had to remove every surface including several walls to open up the Kitchen to the living room and what is now a bar area where our clients can relax, play pool and watch TV. Off the Kitchen is a new laundry with extra storage and countertop space. In removing the walls in the kitchen, we were able to create a large island, move the appliances around and created a new open concept living space. The cabinets in the bar area, laundry and Kitchen perimeter are a white shaker style cabinet with the Island being a separate beautiful Grey color. All of the cabinets were topped with a gorgeous Vittoria white quartz countertop. The Kitchen was then completed with the stand out Grey Glazed Brick backsplash. Finally, the flooring! The home was also updated with a new 12×48 Aequa Tur wood look tile. We created a custom design with this tile at the entry way and transitioned between rooms with a soldier pattern. Lots of detail went into creating this beautiful space, let us know if you have any questions! To request a free estimate for a luxury remodel in Chandler AZ from Mariano & Co., LLC, click here. A personal chef to a local family, the kitchen was going to not only be her office, but a training space for students learning her trade. The most important change was to remove a wall and expand the work space by 2 feet.Adding a prep sink, counter seating and a custom pantry were critical appointments. The materials selected are modern, clean and fresh. The expansive island combines a warm grey painted cabinet and is topped by waterfall white veined quartz countertops. The matte black plumbing fixtures and hardware create drama and contrast against the white countertops and modern shaker cabinetry. The oversized black dome pendants lend a restaurant vibe to the peninsula seating. The stacked stone backsplash lends texture and dimension, and it’s lines are echoed in the fireplace façade. Being averse to countertop outlets, a power strip was tucked underneath the wall cabinetry to keep the backsplash unobstructed. A picket shaped tile was featured as an accent over the client’s BlueStar range. The client’s original ventilation hood was also repurposed. A hospitality station was included and features a beverage cooler, glass display cabinetry and set apart with corbel brackets. The fireplace was refaced with new natural stacked stone in warm greys and touches of spice and features a dark stain wood mantel beam. The recessed niche was fitted with matching lighted floating shelves for display. To request a free estimate a  custom luxury remodeling company, Mariano & Co., LLC, click here. Want An Estimate?
